About Labor of Love Family Foundation
Founded in 2026, the Labor of Love Family Foundation was created by doulas who have witnessed firsthand the life-changing impact compassionate support can have during pregnancy and birth.
After serving families throughout Southeast Wisconsin, we saw a heartbreaking reality. Many women desired the support of a professional doula but simply could not afford it. Others faced pregnancy with little or no support system, leaving them to navigate one of life's most significant experiences feeling isolated and overwhelmed.
We believed there had to be a better way.
The Labor of Love Family Foundation was established to bridge that gap by connecting women experiencing pregnancy with limited support to compassionate, professional doula care through community partnerships. We believe that financial circumstances should never determine whether a woman has someone beside her during pregnancy and childbirth.
By partnering with pregnancy resource centers, healthcare providers, churches, and community organizations, we help ensure that mothers receive the emotional, physical, educational, and practical support they deserve throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the early postpartum period.
Our mission is rooted in the belief that every woman deserves to feel seen, heard, respected, and empowered as she welcomes her child into the world.
As doulas, we know that birth is more than a medical event. It is the beginning of a family's story. Our hope is that by supporting mothers during this pivotal season, we can strengthen families, improve birth experiences, and create healthier communities for generations to come.

How We Serve
Our support is provided through trusted community partnerships.
Women may be referred to the Labor of Love Family Foundation through pregnancy resource centers and other partnering organizations. Once connected, eligible mothers are paired with a professional doula who walks alongside them throughout pregnancy and birth.
Depending on individual needs and available resources, support may include:
